Twenty year-old Colton Harris-Moore, better known as the "Barefoot Bandit," pled guilty to seven felony charges in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington's Seattle Division earlier today.  The plea agreement that was negotiated between the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington and Harris-Moore's attorney jointly recommends a sentence between sixty-six and seventy-eight months of imprisonment, and contemplates that the proceeds from any movie or book contracts into which Harris-Moore enters will be used to pay in excess of $1.4 million in restitution owed to his victims.  Harris-Moore is scheduled to be sentenced on October 28, 2011 by US District Judge Richard Jones.  Read The Seattle Times' article here: "Barefoot Bandit Pleads Guilty to 7 Federal Charges; Forfeits Possible Profits"
